Resources for Biology and Biophysics

sciences or new to Johns Hopkins can use this
guide as an introduction to relevant library resources. 

A more complete list of online resources for the biological sciences is also available. A page of the library resources most heavily used by the Biology Department is available. Print biology materials are located on C level of the MSE Library.

The Welch Library on the East Baltimore Campus also has many relevant resources. Information about the Medical (East Baltimore) Campus is available if you need to use their library.

Homework helpers are two series of books providing help with solving problems and understanding theories in science and engineering. Schaum's Outlines and the Problem Solver series are very helpful.

Primers in Biology publishes online books that provide overviews of different areas within biology. We have two of their online books available:
