Lijphart Elections Archive
The Lijphart Elections Archive, housed at the University of California, San Diego campus, is a research collection of district level election results for approximately 350 national legislative elections in 26 countries. The objective of the Archive is to systematically collect election statistics in as much detail as possible, including, as a minimum, the results at the level of the individual election districts in which votes are converted into seats. The Archive originally acquired print copies of the data and is now focusing on online data. The catalog of holdings details archive holdings of both print and online data as well as access to data when it can be freely disseminated. In addition the catalog links to other sources of online election data and information that can be found on the internet.

News

The United States' principal record of political and historical open source intelligence. The Daily Reports contain English translations of news gathered from foreign radio and television broadcasts, news agency transmissions, newspapers, periodicals, and government statements. For post-1995 coverage, see World News Connection.

An extremely valuable research tool for anyone who needs to monitor non-U.S. media sources, the material in WNC is provided to the National Technical Information Service (NTIS) by the Foreign Broadcast Information Service (FBIS). Analysts from FBIS domestic and overseas bureaus monitor timely and pertinent open-source materials. Coverage is generally from 1995 to present. For earlier coverage, see Foreign Broadcast Information Service (FBIS) Daily Reports, 1974 - 1996.

A Foreign News Service from the U.S. Government; replaces FBIS from 1996-
An index to the FBIS Daily Reports issued by the U.S. Government covering political, economic, scientific, and cultural issues and events throughout the world. Translations of broadcasts, news agency transmissions, newspapers, periodicals, and government statements from nations around the world are the sources of this information
